Guner’s building a new house for his family and it’s pretty epic. I started cracking up when he leaned over and swayed his arms about, describing how his cob bench would flow from the entry into a salvaged tree limb… it looked like he was surfing it already or something J “I have a dream… “ !
Life would be so normal without him and Petey doing their loco things…
Francois, Liana and I finished up the black bamboo columns early in the week... and then JP, Francois, Nick and Valentina returned at the end of the week to pick up everything they needed for Fractal Planet. Quinn and I built a shower prototype for Symbiosis, since I agreed to set up their crew/artist showers… and, conveniently enough, we had our shower working right when the sweaty crew finished loading the truck... Oh, the coincidence!
Lucidity is putting together an event at the Arlington
Theater in downtown SB for October 4th, so I met with Luke, RayRay
and Michael to figure out what materials I’d be donating for the cause. It’s quite
a gorgeous theater… another moment where I appreciated the intricacy of a thing
once I started drawing it. Now we just have to prototype the structure at the ranch and figure out what the kit actually is...
